Love – The theme of love is evident in Luke 6:27-36. In this passage, there has been clear statement made by Jesus for His followers to love their enemies. Therefore, the level of love to be shown by the follower of God must cross the limitations of hatred and mentality of seeking revenge or even ignoring individuals. This is because loving enemies of followers of God would imply that the enemies cannot be ignored or shown indifference towards by the followers of God. Seeking revenge would be considered to be something against the will of Jesus and the opposite of loving enemies of the followers of God.
